Clinique Redness Solutions Review

Nearly every acne treatment addresses blackheads, whiteheads, and the typical pimples people think of when they hear the word “acne.” However, there aren’t very many treatments dedicated to acne rosacea. In an attempt to provide a product line for redness, Clinique developed the Clinique Redness Solutions.
Clinique previously attempted to dabble in the rosacea market and the brand barely made an impact. However, the Clinique Redness Solutions is a revamped and newer product line that hopefully provides the relief many are looking for when it comes to redness.
The range of products starts with a Redness Solutions Urgent Relief Cream that should help with reactive redness and flare-ups. The Urgent Relief Cream contains 0.5% hydrocortisone, which is an over-the-counter steroid that can actually cause rosacea itself (not what we call a solution).
Clinique also provides the Redness Solutions Daily Protective Base SPF 15 that helps protect the skin from UVA/UVB exposure that aggravates rosacea. The protective base can be used under makeup and also has a green tint to help correct redness.
Other products include the Redness Solutions Daily Relief Cream that should provide immediate benefits. The Daily Relief Cream soothes the skin and lessens broken capillaries, the formula includes green tea extract and shea butter to soother the skin.
The last treatment is the Redness Solutions Soothing Cleanser that can be used as a mild exfoliator that removes impurities. The cleanser uses squalane and glycerin to moisturize the skin.
The majority of the ingredients in each Redness Solutions product happen to be humectants for moisturizers or fillers. People who suffer from rosacea will hardly find the relief necessary with Clinique. There are numerous customer reviews that report mediocre results or further skin agitation. The second attempt at trying to offer a real solution for the problem of rosacea by Clinique is not impressive.
