Tanda Clear Acne Light Therapy Treatment AcneTreatment Review
Tanda Clear Acne Light Therapy Treatment has two different products. The first one is meant for professionals and is only available to dermatologists and cosmetic professionals. The other system is a condensed version that is not as strong, and that is available to all consumers. This is not like most acne treatments. It is actually a light therapy kit that uses a blue LED light to kill bacteria and to heal blemishes. They say that 90% of users can notice that it prevents acne from reoccurring, and that it improves their skin.
Product Details
Tanda Clear Acne Light Therapy Treatment makes some pretty bold claims. They say that 90% of users notice great results. They even claim that you can see results in as little as 24 hours. This treatment is supposed to be long lasting, and should help to prevent further breakouts. It is portable so you can continue the treatment even when on vacation.
This kit is not just the LED light, but is a whole routine. First you are supposed to wash your face with their specialized cleanser to help remove impurities. Next you are supposed to apply a gel that is supposed to decrease oily skin and soothe inflammation. The last part of the treatment is the light therapy to kill bacteria and prevent breakouts.
Overall Impression
Tanda Clear Acne Light Therapy Treatment is onto the right track. LED light is successfully used by dermatologists, but that concentration is much higher then they can put into a home kit. If order for this to be effective it would have to be used for a long period of time. This treatment makes your skin very sensitive to the sun so over long use of this product you need to be really careful of sun damage. Another downfall is how expensive this kit is. It costs $275.00. That is a hefty price and you’ll most likely pay about that my just having a professional do it.

MD Skincare AcneTreatment Review
Brought to you by Dr. Dennis Gross, the MD Skincare line has come out with a lot of different products. They have some anti-aging products and moisturizers in addition to several acne treatment products. The acne treatment products are all a little bit different. Some are cleansers, some are spot treatments, and others are exfoliators. Almost all of the formulas have common goals. Those goals are to kill bacteria, decrease inflammation, and provide the skin with antioxidants. Let’s take a look at the some of the ingredients the MD Skincare products use to treat acne.
Product Details
Most of the products contain either sulfur or salicylic acid and they all have the goal to kill bacteria. Both of these have been shown effective in drying out excess oil from skin, and in killing bacteria. However, the main downfall is that the skin becomes accustomed to it, and eventually it is no longer effective. The other common ingredients include willow bark extract and vitamin A. The willow bark is meant to decrease inflammation in the skin which can lead to redness. The vitamin A provides the skin with some needed nourishment. Overall the ingredients are not bad ingredients, but they are not very long lasting either.
Overall Impression
If you have tried many different products that there is no reason that MD Skincare is going to be more effective. It’s ingredients are known to work for some, but for those who really struggle they are not going to do anything different. MD Skincare products have the same ingredients as most acne products on the market.

Leptodrene AcneTreatment Review
Leptodrene is more than just an acne treatment. This product is made from “superfoods”, and is supposed to help with weight loss, anti-aging, and acne. The “superfood” that it is based on is acai. This berry is found in the Amazon and is supposed to have amazingly high amounts of antioxidants. There is an ongoing debate about whether or not there is actually enough antioxidant in the pills once the acai berry has been processed. That really depends on how the berry was processed, and this product does not go into detail about that. Let’s take a look at how well Leptodrene can clear up your acne.
Product Details
Leptodrene claims that it can help people lose 5-20 lbs after using one bottle. They also say that those who struggle with acne have seen a significant decrease in their acne. This product contains a few weight loss ingredients including green tea, and flaxseed. However, it does not contain any ingredients that are going to help clear up your acne. Acai has not been linked to acne treatment in any studies.
Overall Impression
We do not suggest that you buy Leptodrene whether you’re looking to lose weight, clear your skin, or reduce wrinkles. It just doesn’t have a good formula for any of those. They base the ingredients on Acai which simply has not been able to product results of any kind once it is processed. We really suggest that you keep looking for products that base their formulas on scientifically proven ingredients. They do in fact exist. If you’re looking to treat acne then antioxidants are a good ingredient, but there must be a high enough concentration of them to really work.

Tazorac Skincare Acne Treatment Review
This product can only be obtained through a prescription. It was created by Allergan, and comes in both gel and cream form. Those who use this product are prescribed a 12 week plan after which you should see significant results. However, a lot of people report that this product hurts their skin and causes them to peel or become more sensitive to the sun. This product has one main ingredient which is called Tazarotene. This product has a lot of clinical research and the company is very well established. However, it has been shown that as many as thirty percent of people who use Tazorac report that they have experienced side effects. Users should apply Tazorac daily for four weeks before they can expect to see results.
Product Details
One thing that we liked about this product is that the website is very informative. There is research, an ingredient list and customer testimonials on the product. This is a good sign. Companies that fully disclose this type of information have nothing to hide and often have a very effective product. On the other hand, one thing that we don’t like about this product is that it is only available through prescription. This means that not only do you have to pay for the product, you also have to pay your doctor to fill out a prescription to use this stuff. So you are spending twice what you would if it were available in a store.
Overall Impression
Overall, we like this product. It has plenty of clinical research to back it up and it has been proven to be effective. We love that they gave us all the information that we needed. Keep in mind that companies who leave this information usually have something to hide. This company, however, has nothing to hide. We recommend this product. However, because it does require a prescription, we recommend that you try other products first and if nothing seems to help, ask your doctor about this product.

Asso Bar Acne Treatment Review
First off, who named this product? It is probably the most unappealing name you could give a product. This product, is a bar of soap that they have managed to charge $124 per bar. That is ridiculous in our opinion. You can get a bar of soap anywhere and the fact that they are charging you that much for something named Asso Bar is insane. However, they claim that they use 24k gold in their bar of soap and that is probably why it is so expensive. Apparently, Asian countries have been using gold to improve the glow of their skin for years. Even Cleopatra used gold as a form of skin care. Who knew that people cared about their skin in ancient times?
Product Details
We weren’t able to find a list of ingredients on this product which makes us a bit skeptical. First, this type of information should be included in any product that is charging you that much. In our opinion, leaving out this information is very unprofessional and we are disappointed in this company. Without this information it is impossible to determine the effectiveness of the product or whether or not somebody could have an allergic reaction.
Overall Conclusion
Overall, we don’t recommend this product. Not only is it very unprofessional that they don’t include ingredients, but they don’t have any clinical research to back it up. There are plenty of better products out there. We recommend that you do a bit more research to compare ingredients, prices and research in order to find a product that will suit your needs.

Dr. Brandt Skincare Acne Treatment Review
Dr. Brandt Skincare approaches acne with an eye targeted on pore cleansing and reduction. This seems like a logical place to start since clogged pores and engorged hair follicles are the main culprits in the growth of pimples and the onset of breakouts. This product includes the ingredients tea tree oil, linum seed extract, and pro dimethyl silanendiol salicylate. These agents are meant to work together to deep clean and detoxify the pores in your skin and to give you the result of visibly smaller pores once they are cleansed. This acne elimination product boasts the power and potency to absorb excess oils immediately and to even have the strength to reduce overall oil secretion over time.
Tea tree oil has been popular homeopathic cure for ailments and discomforts ranging from mosquito bites to cold sores. Now it has hit the acne elimination market with full force and some claim that it is the biggest innovation on the anti-acne market in quite some time. It is said to have the same effects as benzoyl peroxide but without the drying side effects to the skin. This product is available in a 1oz bottle for $45. This is the first hiccup in the Dr. Brandt Skincare marketing strategy. A one ounce bottle will last a maximum of 15 days if it is used as instructed. That means that you would need 2 bottles per month making your total monthly bill a whopping $90.
Overall this product doesn’t seem to warrant such a high price tag. It may offer some results but without clinical research, customer testimonials or ingredient amounts to help confirm this assertion we have no choice but to advise against the use of Dr. Brandt Skincare.

Change for the Better Acne Treatment Review
Want 100% acne eliminating results in as little as 2 weeks? Change for the Better claims that is can give you those exact results and continue to affect positive changes in your skin’s overall health as you continue to use it. Change for the Better is a system of cleansers and comes complete with a facial cleanser, oil absorbing dry emulsion, a night oil free dry emulsion, and an acne spot treatment in regular and travel size containers. This product averages about $40 a month (because it looks like less money it is split up into 2 payments of $19.95 each) and also comes with a “free-trial offer” for first time customers.
The only ingredient we could discern for this blend is green tea which the people at Change for the better refer to as a “hydrating” element. The fact is that, while green tea has many benefits for overall health and potentially helping the skin to appear brighter and cleaner, it is not an acne fighting agent in any sense of the word. We are a bit mystified as to why this would be utilized in an acne treatment at all let alone be the only listed ingredient.
This product is completely unimpressive. As if we weren’t already frustrated by this producers lack in supplying us with relevant information Change for the Better is further infuriating with their “free trial offer.” Often such trial offers are laden with loop-holes and hoops you have to jump through in order to actually satisfy the fine print of the offer. We do not recommend Change for the Better as your anti-acne solution.

iQ Derma Acne Clear Remedy Acne Treatment Review
iQ Derma Acne Clear Remedy is a three step acne treatment. These steps include a Purifying Cleanser, an Acne Treatment and a Hydrating Lotion. iQ Derma Acne Remedy asserts that it takes a simple and easy path toward acne elimination and prevention. Acne is cause by over-congested hair follicles in the skin. Hair follicles utilize a naturally secreted substance called sebum in order to keep the skin from drying out but, when sebum is overproduced, it can cause the hair follicles to become engorged and a haven for the bacteria that causes pimples.
The Purifying Cleanser’s main goal is to unclog the bacteria and toxins that are plaguing your pores and causing your pimples. This product utilizes the ingredients multifruit BSC, pheohydrane and botanesse to accomplish its goal. The Acne Treatment is to be used after the skin has been cleansed of bacteria. This blend consists of iQ 101(we have no information about what iQ 101 contains), farnseol, flavenger complex and phytic acid. This step is used to kill off the any lasting bacteria. Lastly the Hydrating Lotion is a mixture of Advanced Moisture Complex, willow herb extract, BioCalm Complex and ClariPlex Technology. This mixture is used to soothe and hydrate the skin in an effort to replenish its moisture before sebum can begin to over excrete again.
This is an uninspired acne solution that has nothing revolutionary to offer. Their approach to acne elimination is not in and of itself a bad one but it isn’t anything that can offer help to those truly suffering and looking for a new way to fight the breakout battle. We do not recommend iQ Derma Acne Clear Remedy.

On the Spot Acne Treatment Review
On the Spot Acne Treatment is a skin care product that boasts the ability to eliminate pimples upon contact. This is an acne solution that has been engineered by Neutrogena, a popular skin care company. The main ingredient found in the On the Spot Acne Treatment formulation is benzoyl peroxide which works to increase the oxygen flow into your pores. Increased oxygen makes the pores a hostile environment for the bacteria that try to set up camp there and cause your acne problems. On the Spot Acne Treatment is meant to get rid of whatever pimples you may currently have while deep cleansing in order to eliminate the onset of future breakouts.
Benzoyl peroxide is a worthwhile addition to an acne treatment as it does have the ability to assist in the clarifying and detoxification of the pores. Our issue with this product has more to do with the implication that this ingredient will be able to magically zap whatever pimples might appear. It is recommend that benzoyl peroxide, and skin care treatments contains benzoyl peroxide, be used all over the face or at least the affected areas. It works best when used on a consistent basis.
Adverse reactions to On the Spot Acne Treatment and benzoyl peroxide in general include dry, itching skin as well as redness, flaking and burning on the skin. Some skin may show signs of swelling cause by the amount of chemicals that are being introduced to your pores. If this product is used on a consistent basis there is also the risk of extremely dry skin and the potential for discolorations in the face. You may want to look for a product containing benzoyl peroxide that also implements other ingredients that can aid you on your way towards clear skin.

Murad Acne & Wrinkle Reducer Acne Treatment Review
Murad Acne & Wrinkle Reducer claims to be your one stop solution to acne issues as well as reversing the signs of aging. The Murad brand of products owes its name to its founder, Dr. Howard Murad, a board certified dermatologist who continues to treat patients even though he now heads this wildly successful company. Murad states that it is the first skin care product line to be branded by a reputable doctor in the skin care field. This specific Murad product claims that it can “rapidly improves skin’s appearance by alleviating existing adult acne, preventing the development of new acne, and restoring collagen to more youthful levels.”
Ingredients are listed as Kombucha Collagen Defense, Salicylic Acid, Fermented Black Tea Coenzyme A, Glycine, Alanine, Proline, Serine, Threonine, Arginine, Lysine, and Glutamic Acid. Salicylic Acid is a common and useful anti-acne ingredient that can assist in clarifying the pores to eliminate the onset of future breakouts. Kombucha Collagen Defense aids in the regeneration of collagen which gives aging skin a boost in elasticity and can reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
There wasn’t a large amount of product information to go off of and we couldn’t find any customer testimonials or clinical trial documentation to help us form an opinion. Going off the only real information we could find, the ingredient list, we would say that this product does have some potential as an acne remedy. It doesn’t strike us as a revolutionary blend by any means but it could probably give you some results. If you can find a similar product for under $58 then we would recommend giving that product a try first.
