Proactiv has been one of America’s top selling acne products since its introduction years ago. Since then, many acne treatments have emerged, trying to imitate acne and claiming to beat its results. What you believe depends on you. But AcneFree was one of the first, selling in Walmart stores and through their own commercials, claiming to provide a better option at a cheaper price. They claimed that they used a time release formula that would blow your results with Proactiv out of the water. Unfortunately, we found and many other customers found, that though cheaper, AcneFree is no better than Proactiv. In fact, many have complained that it is worse, leaving further irritation and redness on their skin and not actually getting rid of their acne.

As you can see with the ingredients list above, there is nothing particularly impressive about AcneFree. It has a weaker formula than Proactiv with some of the same key ingredients. There is no time release technology, and it uses no valid components that would surpass those of Proactiv. You pay less, but you get less. AcneFree would be a severe waste of your time and money.
