Accutane Review

Known by various other names, Accutane is a prescription acne treatment which releases the amount of oils released by oil glands and helps your skin to heal more quickly in the event of injury. However, it has been known to cause life threatening birth defects and therefore requires women to participate in an iPLEDGE program, depression, sudden numbness, hearing problems, blurred vision, hearing problems, hearing loss, seizures, severe pain in the upper stomach, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, severe diarrhea, rectal bleeding, black or tarry stools, flu symptoms, joint stiffness, discomfort with contacts, dryness, cracking, peeling, rash, or changes in the coloration of your fingernails or toenails. As such, Accutane is thought of as only the last resort for severe acne treatment.

The only ingredient named and the only active ingredient found in Accutane is known as isotretinoin, a form of vitamin A.

Accutane comes with quite a few side effects, and most complain of a few. But many customers also complain that it does not actually work for all its side effects. They get red, itchy, peeling, and otherwise irritated skin in most cases without actually seeing any improvement in their acne at times. Most users can find other treatments. But the only patients who seem to be able to find nothing else and see success with nothing else are those suffering from severe forms of acne such as acne conglobata, outside of the standard acne vulgaris. Otherwise, most strongly recommend against it.
